Leg Warmers
Christmas socks!
"Come on Dole...I show you Tristmas Tree ":)

Kade is showing the bear and Kole the Christmas tree lights.

Look Mr. Bear!
Kade is so excited about the Christmas tree. Everytime someone comes over, he insists on taking them into the office to show them the lights. Kole loves the lights but isn't too sure what it's all about yet.

Kade's Very First Hair Cut

Here is a before picture.........
And here is our new little man :)

WOW..I'm still trying to get used to it myself!

Just Handsome.
Gabe and I have talked about it, put it off, talked about it and put it off again and again:) The final decission came after 3 people told me how cute "SHE" was within the last two weeks. It didn't matter what he was wearing, he was still mistaken for a cute little girl with big curls!!!!! I woke up one morning and said "Kade, lets cut your hair today". I put him in the highchair and fed him suckers to keep him still and AWAY WE CUT one curl at a time :( I figured he was due his first hair cut after two and half years. It was definatly a bitter sweet moment..........

and more birthday pictures................

Catch me if you can!!
I like to stand up and drive so I can see where I'm heading.

Oh how we love cake.

Anyone who thinks this was easy....think again! Keeping 10 toddlers still at one time :):):):)

Papa and the boys. Kade knows exactly who his papa is...Kole isn't so sure yet :)

Kole opening his gifts and Kade is steeling them as quickly as he can.

Mindi, Aunt Velma, Meme and Aunt Tonya....doing cake duty.

YEAH...more of this fun paper. I can't wait to rip it up into a million pieces.

FINALLY....KOLE'S BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!

Not so interested in cake when I have a big cookie in hand.

We tried so hard to get all the cousins in one picture..not the easiest job.

Oh how we love the bubbles...more please!!!!!!

Not a bad tastin cake but I'd like my cookie back now :)

Kole and Meme.

Thanks for the new set of wheels Mom and Dad!

We had to work around several other birthdays but were finally able to celebrate Kole's first birthday. We had a Elmo cake and Jason's Deli and lots of bubbles for all the kiddo's. I think Kade loved the party more than Kole did. Kole had to fight big brother off of all his new toys...mainly the new hot-rod!!!!! As you can see in the pictures, Kole couldn't wait for daddy to put it together. Thank You to all our family and friends for making Kole's birthday a truly special day!!!!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!

I'm a rodeo clown!!!!
Quit trying to take my suckers away...it's TRICK OR TREAT today!
Yep....Aunt Tonya gave this one year old a sucker!!!!!!

SO....this was really Kade's first halloween since he wasn't old enough to understand last year. I tried to think of an easy costume since I knew he wouldn't keep anything heavy or hot on for long. Since Kade loves getting into my makeup and loves wearing ANYTHING on his head, I figured a wig and some makeup would be our best bet. We took him trick-or-treating to a few houses on our street. At first he was a bit shy and confused but as soon as he realized trick-or-treat meant CANDY, he was on his way. Just like Easter, he wanted to eat what he had and wasn't worried about getting more.....totally worked for mom and dad too. After 6 houses, we returned home to help Aunt Tonya and Kole hand out candy. As for Mr. Kole, we came home to find him with a sucker in hand....yes Aunt Tonya had given him a sucker. We spent the rest of the evening fighting with both boys over the candy dish. Even with two little boys, both on a sugar-high, this turned out to be a great Halloween.

Food made FUN

I just love ordering chinese because they always send these fancy hats :)
Hmmmm....brown cherrios (coco puffs) with a straw.

Kade is such a picky eater so we're extremely happy when we get him to eat anything at all. With that being said, he doesn't eat much without getting creative in one way or the other. I think the pictures speak for themselves :)

Birthday Balloons

Aunt Tonya, Kole and the famous balloon!
Sorry Aunt Tonya......it didn't last long. Next time I'd like one that is bite resistant :)

At last....big brother Kade is the happy owner of his own balloon!!!!!!!!

While we aren't having Kole's birthday party until Nov 7th, Aunt Tonya showed up on the day of and personally delivered a balloon for the birthday boy! Kole absolutely LOVED the balloon but so did big brother Kade :) In true "Aunt Tonin style" our door bell rang a second time with yet another balloon delivery.....but this time for Kade. If anyone wonders why my kids are so spoiled, now you know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank You for loving us so much Aunt Tonya :)

Happy 1st Birthday KOLE!!!!!!!

Birthday: October 22, 2009

One year ago today our sweet baby Kole was born. He weighed 6 pounds 3 onces and was the cutest, easiest baby ever. We are so blessed and thank God everyday for him.
Kole, right now you love to play with your big brother Kade, you LOVE bathtime and sometimes crawl into Kade's bath with your clothes on. You started crawling at 6 mths, walking at 10 mths, got your first tooth at 10 mths and we found you in the pantry eating crackers at 6 mths. You never liked baby food but you would scream for food off of mom/dads plate. Your favorite toys consist of anything you can pull out of the cabinets and you LOVE to dig in the fride anytime I leave the door open. When you see something you want, you reach out for it and start screaming until we get it for you :) Kade has even figured out how to appeace you...when you start crying he looks for the closest toy and says "here Dole, here".

It is truly a joy to be your parents. We love you!!!!!!!

Pink Ribbon Tour-Breast Cancer Awareness

Grandma (Meme) is a breast cancer survivor and went to see the Pink Ribbon Tour this week. The Pink Ribbon Tour is a group of fire fighters, police officers and leaders of different communities that are raising awareness and money to help fight breast cancer. These men are touring around the country driving pink fire trucks and wearing pink shirts to show their support for the women of this country. Grandma got to sign the fire truck as a BREAST CANCER SURVIVOR. This is a wonderful organization, you can visit their website at http://www.pinkribbontour.com/ to learn more.

Spilt Milk

Yes...this is Kade and he is drinking off the floor!!!! Mr. Independent decided to get his own milk out of the fridge yesterday. Some how he managed to get the "gallon" of milk off the top shelf and then proceeded to pour it into a toy! When I walked in a caught him and started cleaning up the mess, he tried to lap up as much as he could before I got it all wiped up. I take comfort in knowing he won't starve if something should ever happen to me!!!!!!

Fun at the Ellington Wedding

Can you tell that Daddy doesn't get out much :) He had to take a nap on the way home....

Tonya and Skyler...better known as Aunt Tonin' and Syler.

This child loves play guns and swords. He spent the entire evening yelling "pow pow pow pow".

Momma and Daddy all dressed up. I'm not sure that Kole recognized mommy w/ makeup on :)

Meme, Aunt Velma and cousin Lora.

Stick em up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We went to a reception this weekend for Russell and Mindi's wedding. Gabe and I don't go out much so it was a nice reason to get dressed up and get out of the house. Kole slept the entire time we were there but Kade had a FABULOUS time playing with the other kiddo's. It was wonderful seeing all of our family that we wouldn't otherwise see. We are so happy for Russell and Mindi :) Thanks for a wonderful time Ellington's...Congratulations and Best Wishes!!!!!!

Weekend At The Ranch

We went to the Freeborn family ranch for the weekend to meet up with Uncle Wes, Terri and of course Kaylie. Kade always has such a good time at the ranch since it's nothing but open space for him to run. We spent time with Granny Jean and hung out with Papa Sandi too. The most excitment was going down to the pens with granpa to doctor one of the horses. Kade and Kaylie climbed gates, chased down a few horses and rode any ole piece of farm equipment they could find. We had such a good time but our visit was cut short when Kade starting running 103 fever.
